Ep. 89: If True, This Guy Wants In

Parks n Wrecked Logo - A podcast about Parks and Rec

Listen to “If True, This Guy Wants In” on Spreaker.

Leslie offers a bailout to a local movie store, but it backfires with hilarious results. April and Ann are best friends for a week, and together with Donna they perform a stirring rendition of “Time After Time.”

Jenny Slate as Mona-Lisa Saperstein makes her first appearance in the show, and that’s really all you need to know. Brandi Maxxx is also back on the scene, much to the delight of Sean.

This episode has (at least according to Joey), the BEST cold open in the entire show. Do you agree? If true, you’re awesome.

Plus, we cover the Parks and Rec reunion,  Also, we really got off on a college basketball tangent there at the start, didn’t we?

Ep. 79: Meet the Parents

Parks n Wrecked Logo - A podcast about Parks and Rec

Listen to “Meet the Parents” on Spreaker.

Ben and Leslie are engaged – time to throw a party! There’s only one problem: Ben’s parents can’t stand each other, and Ben is worried they’ll derail the whole shindig. Meanwhile, Tom and Jean Ralphio have a new business idea, but it seems only Tom is taking it seriously. Will that be enough for Ron to invest? We’ll have to find out! Also, Chris is sad. But what else is new?

Sean’s planning a work trip FOR parks and rec activities. What a fun time! This week was Fat Tuesday and we certainly celebrated in style (via eating 65 pounds of food). He’s also furious over the new pizza from Pizza Hut that features cheese sticks as part of the crust. Things are just getting wild over here.

Ep. 72: The Quest for City Council

Parks n Wrecked Logo - A podcast about Parks and Rec

Listen to “The Quest for City Council” on Spreaker.

It’s the start of the year but the end of the season – the time has finally come to vote for city council. Will Leslie defeat Bobby Newport? Can Ben Wyatt handle a drink of whiskey, neat? What kind of alternate career options are available for Andy and April? How many times did Chris Traeger and Jen Barkley have sex in one night? Are Ann and Tom really getting back together?

We’ve got questions of our own, too. Will Sean pass out during the episode due to allergies? Will Haleigh defeat Sean in the season’s trivia? Is Malort the worst drink ever? Will Sean try a new sport in 2020? And is he truly a Hufflepuff? Is it even worth it to watch a New Year’s Eve celebration? Can Sean flex his fingers at all?

Find out the answers plus a lot more in our first episode of the new year!

Meanwhile, April helps Andy check things off his bucket list. Tom and Jean-Ralphio are throwing a party, too, to celebrate the extravagant demise of Entertainment 720. Ep. 32: What the Heck Did We Learn In Seasons 1 and 2?

Listen to “What the Heck Did We Learn In Seasons 1 and 2?” on Spreaker.

We’ve made it through Seasons 1 and 2, so what better way to celebrate than with an introspective? Sean chats about his top themes of the first two seasons, we recap our favorite characters and moments, and we take a very poorly worded quiz to test our knowledge. We go off on a ton of random tangents, too, from Pixar movies (Ratatouille is so underrated) to Pokemon moves. Hey, remember that time Joey and Sean tried to do every Pokemon move in real life? No? Well, luckily, you can check it out below.
