Ep. 118: You’re So Good At Reminding Me Where Pizza Is

Listen to “You’re So Good At Reminding Me Where Pizza Is” on Spreaker.

Welcome to the Unity Concert! We’ve finally made it and my, what a wonderful show. This Parks and Rec episode is chock full of guest appearances, like Ginuwine, Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, Kay Hanley of Letters to Cleo, The Decemberists, Jon Hamm, Johnny Karate, and a whole lot more. And we’re all partying at Tom’s Bistro after the show.

Meanwhile, Leslie is looking for people to take with her to her new job as the head of the Midwest branch of the National Park Service. Ron is disinterested because the government, April hates people and Leslie (but also loves her). Andy briefly agrees after forgetting that he can also get pizza in Pawnee. And of course, Larry is game! The end of this episode also flashes forward three years into the future, which is wild.

Plus, the proper footwear to don if you’re participating on Floor Is Lava, how some people only have one karaoke song they ever sing, and the longevity of the Power Rangers as both a show and video game. Does it also seem like there’s far less Christmas music this year than usual or is it just us?

Also, Joey apologizes to Darkbuster for blanking on your name during the episode. Rock on!

Ep. 87: Close Only Counts in Horse Grenades

Parks n Wrecked Logo - A podcast about Parks and Rec

Listen to “Close Only Counts in Horse Grenades” on Spreaker.

Wait, are Leslie and Ben really going through with this whole “let’s get married tonight” thing? Sure seems like it! That means everyone has jobs. Leslie and Ann are working on procuring a dress. Ben and Chris are looking for wedding rings. Ron is walking Leslie down the aisle. Donna’s giving us GREAT vocals. Andy and April are finding marriage licenses. Tom and Jerry (hehe) are writing a speech.

But wait! Councilman Jamm is here to try and ruin everything. Luckily, the Pawnee parks crew isn’t about to let anyone get Jammed today. And Leslie and Ben will get their big day after all.

Plus, all kinds of drama around Animal Crossing, a deep dive into grenades (including a dissection of the song “Grenade” by Bruno Mars), and Joey is fired up about The Last Dance documentary on the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls. We also reminisce about the time our dog brought in a rat from outside. YIKES.

Ep. 48: Bye Bye, Li’l Sebastian

Parks n Wrecked Logo - A podcast about Parks and Rec

Listen to “Bye Bye, Lil Sebastian” on Spreaker.

In this episode, we say goodbye to the best damn horse ever. Ben and Leslie are trying to romantically sneak around, Tom is thinking about starting a new business, and everyone chips in to put on a memorial show for our favorite little horse, Li’l Sebastian.

Plus, when people have nookie in your workplace, getting hit by a car (or a bike), and the long lost art of Vines. Also this is the first mention of Tammy 1 – LOOK OUT, EVERYONE!

With Season 3 in the books, Parks n Wrecked is taking a little bit of a break. New episodes will return July 11. In the meantime, keep up with everything (and share us your favorite gifs) on Twitter and Facebook.

Ep. 39: The Most Li’l Sebastian Harvest Festival Ever

Parks n Wrecked Logo - A podcast about Parks and Rec

Listen to “The Most Li'l Sebastian Harvest Festival Ever” on Spreaker.

Li’l Sebastian! Is there anything that horse can’t do? The Pawnee crew is putting on the best Harvest Festival yet, so it’s time to get lost in a corn maze. We talk curses, the trouble of dealing with mechanics, and how spectacular it is that there are both Tom and Jerry and Ben and Jerry references in this episode. Special shout out to *How to Avoid Huge Ships*, as well. Great read.
