Ep. 132: Don’t Be Suspicious

Some of the crew is moving to Washington D.C. (and other places, as we’ll soon see), so Leslie is getting the gang together for one last ride. What started out as a presentation with song and dance turns into a final problem-solving adventure.

Meanwhile, we’re jumping into the future! Will Craig and Typhoon end up together after all? What’s Donna up to six years from now? Will Andy ever learn about Sandra Day O’Connor? How many restaurants will Tom open up? Will Garry have a successful run as mayor? Can Jean Ralphio and Mona Lisa successfully pull off a heist without being suspicious? The answer to some of these questions is “yes”; for others, it’s “no”. Still others have longer answers. And I’ve been Perd Hapley.

Plus, the massive secret (but not so secret) Lyndon B. Johnson was hiding, cutting the line at amusement parks when you’re in a wheelchair, the famous John Lennon and Yoko Ono picture from Rolling Stone, how inconvenient it is for maintenance to be closed on a Friday, and getting banned from restaurants.

Ep. 117: Call Me Kristen Because I’m Wigging Out

We’re at the last episode of Season 6, but as NBC did, we’re turning it into a two-parter. Leslie still isn’t sure if she’s going to take that job in Chicago, Ben gets to show off his Cones of Dunshire skills, and we meet Gryzzl, who most certainly will make another appearance in future episodes.

Meanwhile, Tom’s Bistro just moved up its soft launch and it is going QUITE poorly. Tom is being a jerk. April has to sub in as a server and adds several cars to the list of available pasts. And Larry knocks over entire cabinets of glassware. Classic Larry.

Plus, we debate the merits of stuffing versus dressing, reminisce about adventures at a Texas Rangers baseball game, nerd out quite a bit over Star Wars, and there’s actually something related to parks and rec this episode! Sean is thrilled to share his experiences in working at conferences.

Ep. 105: Cones of Dunshire

Parks n Wrecked Podcast Logo

Introducing…the Cones of Dunshire! Leslie also uses the insult “dinkhead,” which is a new one to all of us. She’s trying to win her last battle against Councilman Jamm, and it includes a hibachi grill, karaoke, and plenty of shenanigans. We wouldn’t expect anything less.

Meanwhile, Ron is trying to sell his cabin, and Tom, Donna, and April are all involved. Who will end up with the cabin? That hipster couple? A Sam Elliott-type character (but not the Sam Elliott that guest-starred a few episodes ago)? The tension is palpable!

Plus, a creative way to watch college sports live during a time of social distancing, Sean gives updates on his dating life, and he and Joey foolishly got coerced into playing fantasy football. Gross.

Oh, and we’ve finally figured out a punishment for the loser of trivia this season! Tune in to see what it is.
